I've been working with a local dealer on a bare bones 13' GT and they "quoted" me a $29,969.00 "OTD" price.
He tells me that this is not a set in concrete price. It's a "now" price. It could change for various reasons once it arrives.
First new car purchase....is this common practice? Or is he full of so he can milk me for all I'm worth?
There is currently a $1500 rebate on 13' GT's, but it ends Oct 1st. So, this ordered Mustang would arrive WELL beyond that date so now, that $29,969 GT is +1500 (in my opinion, way too much for a bare bones 13' GT)
He's ordering it and telling me that the price will be whatever it is when it arrives. I don't like this one bit, but what sucks.....the nearest black bare bones 13 GT is in Southern California and I'm in Seattle.
Can't a dealer guarantee a price on an ordered car?
