Hi, I'm new to these forums and i would appreciate any help available!
2001 3.8L mustang, i recently bought this car and have been looking up how to fix this for a while but can not seem to find someone with the same problem!
The fuel gauge sits on half 90% of the time and will sometimes show the correct fuel level for a short amount of time, the low fuel light still seems to be accurate and makes it bearable though.
The bigger problem is that my speedo sits on 120, every time i get above 40mph (using speedo app on phone) it will go backwards to 80. So above 40 it sits on 80 and below 40 it sits on 120... one single time both the fuel gauge and the speedo starting working perfectly but after shutting the car off and coming back later the problem came back.. Has anyone had this problem or can give me advice?
