They offer gains in hp! When you dyno your car at 110F with 100% humidity at 4 miles up, then take that and dyno it at 40F with 2% humidity 4 feet up, you'll see big gains!

Those Ebay chips do work- for a while at least. Even at moderate temperatures, they tell the computer that it's really cold, so the computer advances the timing a little, giving you a little extra HP.
BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT, the computer also adds extra fuel, making the car run rich. Pretty soon, your car is blowing black smoke, the exhaust is clogged up, the O2 sensors are clogged up, the Check Engine light is on, and your ride is in the shop. Not a legitimate mod.

Turbonator and Vornado- Slight loss of HP and loss of $60 for your wallet.

that turbonator thing comes back every 10 years or so, it's a piece of crap. they sell a bunch, people realize they suck and word gets out. 10 years later a bunch of kids that werent driving the last time it was out are now driving, and they sell a bunch to them and then word gets out that theyre crap...well i think you see where this story is going

you would be better to hook up a leaf blower like the video on streetfire they gained a bit of power but thoose blowers push like 150 mph wind so I doubt that little turbotronic or what ever would do any thing but restrict flow.
