I have to admit, if I had done this before I would have used a hydraulic clutch setup because then you can use a standard toploader bellhousing instead of getting a special one that allows the use of a clutch cable. Also, a hydro setup would mount behind the fork so clearance wouldnt be an issue with the headers. I'd suggest a hydraulic clutch over the cable. With the price of the aftermarket clutch cable I'm sure the hydraulic setup would have cost the same, maybe even cheaper because you could get a cheaper bellhousing.
