The reason the cheap cars are stolen more often is because they are easier to steal. People usually steal cars, chop them, and then resell them. The more expensive the car, the harder it is to steal, thus the longer it takes to steal it.

While there are car theives like the ones in "Gone in 60 seconds," most only know the basics. Dodges are the easiest cars to steal, followed by imports because their ignition systems are easy to defeat.

Hawaii is probably any car, both of my cars have been broken into and my junk car has been broken into twice. Mercury mystique, 2 points, 94 Mustang Gt 1 point, and the 94 Cobra 1 point, which was actually stolen and found on the road with no seats and battery. Got to love paradise.

They really thrashed that Dodge Challenger on the back of the tow truck in Gone in 60 Seconds!
 
Without checking, I think anything acura gets boosted the most. According to the premiums on my wife's legend anyway. My Stang is pretty low in the premiums. My guaranteed value insured cars are less than that damn acura.
