Well after a short stint with the Ricer sounding OEM replacement and with the passing of my 36th Birthday last month, came a surprise from a friend in the form of a new MAC SS axle back single exhaust for the Lil' Stang. :nice:

After a 30 minute wrestling match with the isolator bracket spyder hangers, we were successful and I was off for a test drive.

10 minutes on the road proved to me that when it comes to the single exhaust replacement, MAC has hands-down (in my personal opinion and preference) NAILED the droan and amplification of the cam lobe of the 4.0L V-6. :hail2: It is all about the droan for me. The louder the better. When the amplification pressure is deep enough to be nearly uncomfortable but it does not rupture my ear drum, then I give an exhaust :nice: :nice: - 2 thumbs up.

So, I am a happy woman and the droan is > sex. The aggressive size of the pipe is a little large, but I do not stand there and look at the aesthetics of the pipe. I could care less. My Lil' Stang sounds evil.

Next - Springs and then power adders.

(For those wondering why not a true dual swap - engineering and natural law tells me that until there is an increase in HP/TQ, going to a true dual while the engine is stock will actually cause a net loss in power. So, I will wait and reengineer the exhaust, when I can compensate at intake or combustion. For every action there is an equal reaction. :p )

Pics and sound clip will be posted by this coming weekend, I am hoping.

And a special thanks to the man who sent the sexy muffler. You are a gentleman who knows what to buy a lady and you nailed it – 10 out of 10!!!! WOOT! :hail2:

Fixed.

Most of you guys are far too young. I'll show her how it's done. :P

On topic:
Congrats on getting the sound, Jenn. I had a moderator for a local board talking about how she hated the MAC Prochamber- just on-and-on. Then tell me how much she loves the sound of my exhaust. That was an interesting expression on her face. :D

well, if you're gonna brag about that too, I guess another set of pics and sounds clips is in order! :D

(I know. Someone who posts as infrequently as I do shouldn't be wise'n off but I couldn't resist that one!:D )

All I read was Jenn + SEX and I was hooked !

Glad you like the new Muff, nothing beats great muff !!!

 Yeah you turd, I had to get a new muff on my own since the box of Cavallo take-offs was lost by UPS. :nonono:

:D What set-up did you settle with Cavallo and what happened to the take-offs? What else do you have lying around the garage I can pilfer off ya'?
