He's probably a teenager who doesn't have a clue.

To the original poster--just keep your head up and do what you have to do to stay sane and get right back on that horse.

Good luck.
Im 24 and most certainly have a "clue". Divorced parents, for starters. I know all about divorce Ive grown up in a broken home since 1990. My dad did the right thing and let us all live in the house so we didnt have to relocate by letting my mom buy him out. My mom who is a great woman and a hard worker worked hard and bought him out. But now she owns the house free and clear. The house being a 700k house that will be worth even more when she retires. My dad lives in a house half the size and half the value. His house is nowhere near as nice, smaller property etc. Screwed? a lil. But guys I work with? Holy shnikes some of them should be on suicide watch.

Wait... what???? Use women for something other than sex???

I'm confuxored. :bang:

I pretty much understood the rest of the thread except for that part.

I believe she means; you can use women for something other than sex........
Like cooking & cleaning. Understand now, Daggar? :D

I know of a guy who got divorced, and after paying child support and alimony was left with less than 100 each paycheck. The poor guy lost his house, his family, and was forced to move into a shelter. On top of that, some rats at work complained against him and had him fired. It just pissed me off. How can a judge leave a man with less than $100 to live on. The fat lazy wife that never lifted a finger in her life is living, as you would say, large.

I was very lucky in my experience with divorce. We got a dissolution, I drew up the papers with a kit I got at Borders, filed them and it only cost me 150 bux total.

Since we never had anything we didn't fight about anything. We were married 8.5 years (together for 10--no kids).

Oh, and she cheated on me, but I forgave her, but it was never the same.

I was lucky in the whole scheme of things, I guess.

Divorce is all around me.. every serious relationship ive been in the girl has had divorced parents.. that doesnt scare me, and i plan on proposing to my girlfriend this summer. She is seriously my rock, and id be pretty lost without her. I guess you have to have a balanced, solid relationship before you get married? not saying anyone here hasnt or didnt when they got married, Things change over time. im just hoping that when things change for me, we can work thru it.

I always say that my first marriage was a practice one so i knew what i wanted in my second marriage. So far, its worked out great :nice:

Hey you cant complain when you and your buddies are in the garage drinking, and your wife comes out and paints a running pony mural on the wall for you :hail2:

Ive also learned, dont ever... EVER take anything she does for you for granted. I did that once, realized what i could lose, and ill never do it again.

See, and a few friends of mine consider me whipped because of me complimenting her and thanking her all the time. But ya know what, **** them! Most of them wish they had what i do. jealous Bastards lol.

WHY did he cheat on you?
You know what they say: When a wife puts her husband in the dog house, she will find him in the cat house.
Is that what happend causing your husband to cheat with you?

NO. :bang:

It was probably because he was an alcoholic and a drug addict. Yeah, it's my fault because I did everything I could for him, had his 3 kids, took care of them when he wouldn't, cooked and cleaned for him, made his lunch everyday for work which he always came home late from, brought him and his buddies drinks when they were out working on cars, helped him on said cars when I was allowed to, ****ed him anytime he wanted it... yeah, it was my fault he hit me and threatened to kill me if I left him. Sure, men do NOTHING wrong. EVER. Thanks for that. You just reinforced my disgust for the human race. :nonono:

Maybe you guys should hold a seminar. LOLLL :nice:

I'm serious. :(

I'm sorry to hear that your husband was such a bad person. Why did he get involved with drugs? When he cheated on you, did he cheat on you with the person that he was doing drugs with?

NO. :bang:

I don't understand WHY he became an alcoholic and a drug addict?
Did he find it recreational to do drugs and to drink? Some guys like to drink a lot. I know many alcoholics and they have ruined their lives by drinking a lot.
