I had the TFS1 before this, big difference I noticed is more lift. Im interested to see how much higher this cam pulls and what its going to sound like.

Gross valve lift .528 intake .536 exhaust
Duration @ .006 269 intake 275 exhaust
Valve Timing @ .050 -1 intake, 46 exhaust
LSA 112

Hard to read the cam card if theres any specs im leaving out just say so.

its gonna have some lope thats for sure....

I thought LSA really determined the idle? Its still a 112 LSA cam. It should pull to around 6500, at least thats what I told the guy, Ill have to call tomorrow to find out the exact powerband it doesnt say on the cam card.

I'm no cam expert at all but it definatly looks like a mild cam. It'll lope as will any aftermarket cam, but it looks tiny to me. My FTI custom has over 20* more duration than that :)

well my buddy had a cam from these same people and he went 11.80 on a stock bottom h/c/i 5.0, so Im having faith in it, it has a lot of lift. Im feeling like I should have gone with FTI though, thats what I was going to do until my friend convinced me otherwise. If its too small, oh well, Ill just pull it out and stuff a supercharger cam in, in a month or two ( hint hint :D )

Could that be because you have 45 more cubes, which therefore needs more duration to supplement the longer stroke, up and down;)

Larger heads - shorter duration
Smaller heads - longer duration

You have TF heads, those are 'small' for a 347 cube engine. So your going to get the longer duration...

just called the guy and he said shift it around 6200-6500, its interesting that this thing is smaller than the TFS1, except for the lift, but its going to pull about 1,000 rpms higher lol. Custom ftw.

Oh yeah:nice: It is all in the valve timing and lobe design, not just those peak numbers that most go off of...(duration, peak lift, et al.)

I just hope the guy didnt decide that I need a street cam and I didnt sacrifice power for gay streetability. I didnt want a "street" cam, I was looking to get the most out of this setup and I hope this cam is going to do it. Do you think he could have gone more aggressive with the specs or do you think its okay?
