Awesome. Thanks guys. Now just imagine a flat-black hatchback with a Cobra R Hood, clear side marker lights, Cobra ground affects & spoiler and gloss-black pinstripe flames. It might take a while, but it's going to happen.
I just need to find the right wheels.....and a couple thousand dollars.
Only thing I have against flat black is that it's so hard to keep from getting messed up. You can't always just wipe stuff like bird poo and such right off of it like you can with a glossy paint, because it sticks down in the surface texture (a-la a primered car), and every time you so much as brush up against it or whatever, it mars the finish. However, fortunately, it's very easy to do touch-ups on the paint - just keep a can or two on hand at all times to maintain that Wal-Mart Fresh Finish.
Wow - thanks for the link. Yeah, I love the old hotrods\shine-runners. I'm even considering white-wall tires. I'm definately going to try to do it the right way.
