I see that it has the adapter that goes into the schrader valve. Do I need to get a new schrader valve for my 00GT? If I unscrew that piece from autometer wont it spray out fuel and has no valve like it is stock? I unplugged the gauge that goes to it and took out guage, but left that adapter sender unit in. Can I just unscrew it?

Yes you can unscrew it but you will need a Schrader valve to replace it. It looks like a typical bicycle tire air valve. Not much fuel will spill out when you unscrew the fitting and replace it with a Schrader valve. Just make sure you use a good sealant or it will leak. I used teflon tape rated for gas lines to seal the threads on my adapter since nothing else worked. Another option is to place a threaded plug in its place. You may be able to raid a wrecking yard for a Schrader valve. Those electrical fuel pressure setups are pricey, why are you removing it?

selling car and selling the blower. Ya i called ford and you have to buy the whole fuel rail?? What happened to my stock schrader valve when the person installed the gauge? I dont get it. Where can i get a schrader valve? i thought i could just unscrew the adapter and be done with it. Its not underneath it?

what size is the threaded plug? They dont sell those kind of things at home depot a schrader valve

I don't know the thread size so you would have to remove the adapter and go check who has a threaded plug the same size. Home Depot def does not carry a Schrader valve. You're in luck though. I have a spare from another fuel rail. If you want it for just the shipping costs PM me. Later.
