I'd been planning a dyno day for our club at Marysville Speed & Custom for the last three months. All last week the forecast for Saturday got worse and worse. I had to tell the food vendor yes or no by Thursday and by that time all of the news outlets were predicting snow for Saturday. So I called it off. I think I might have actually seen three or four flakes of snow yesterday afternoon, but today Edmonds has bright sunshine. View attachment 334089 Last night, the news was saying "1 to 4 inches of snow throughout the Seattle area tomorrow". :bs: I want to be a #*@%ing weatherman. View attachment 334090 You never have to be right, you get to be on TV and you get to wear nice clothes. Sounds like a pretty good gig.

BTW, SVTOA/Seattle's dyno day is rescheduled for March 1.

Dave you knew all along that as soon as we cancelled this, it assured that it would not snow. As far as you being a weatherperson I think the growing trend is to hire women. So you may get to wear nice clothes but I don't think you have the legs for a skirt.:eek:

Bill, I wanted to get this thing as far from the threat of another snow-out as I could, without waiting too long. Besides, some folks have conflicts in February. I figure March 1 is a reasonable compromise.

well its all over down here. Mustangs and snow do not mix. :eek:

It was 40 and raining when I left for work. Then It was 3" of snow when I went home.

I have a very slight hill next to my house. Its so slight that a sled cannot go down it. Needless to say my Mustang cannot go up it in snow. :D

I let out the clutch with no gas and spun around in circles. It was fun since I was the only idiot out driving this morning.

I thought I'd heard that there was some ill will with how things worked out between you and them at the last one? If not, you're more than welcome to join us on the 1st. I'll even hold an afternoon spot for you if you want, since I'm sure that one or two folks won't be showing.

Nah, that was just Dan being Dan, we're still on good terms. As far as coming down on the 1st is this the 1st of March then?

Yeah. It's not absolutely, positively, 100% for sure yet, but I'm going to be talking to Dan this week and that's the date I'm shooting for. I'll drop you a PM when I know for sure. Let me know if you want a spot.
