Spark Knocking?

My car spark knocks really bad in 3rd gear running at the dragstrip. What should I do? I have a SCT Xcal 2. Do I tune the spark advance down or Global spark down or try to richen the fuel mixture? Thanks.

Switch to a higher octane or retard the timing a bit

If you are already running the highest octane available then back off the WOT spark.

Is that the Global Spark or the Spark advance. And yes this is on 93 octane. And it only spark knocks at WOT.

Do not touch the global spark. That will change spark at idle and cruise. Only back off the WOT.

So I need to retard the timing from 4000-8000? Or all of them?

I don't deal with sct I use Sniper. But it should have 3 different WOT sections 2000-4000,4000-6000, 6000-8000 or something like that. Find out at what rpm you are pinging and pull timing out of that area.
