Kinda bad tho, cause at the end of the show some rich tools showed up with Ferrari's and Lambos and well ... kinda stole the crowd from the American Muscle show....

What is the worst part is in the 2005-2009 mustang category if your car didnt say shelby, roush or saleen on it you werent even considered for a car award. Hell i was the only GT/CS there and didnt get any recognition... :rlaugh:

sounds typical of all mustang show i have seen/ been to...Someone always shows up with a Roush 427R and steals the show, because there is a Roush dealer in town and they sell 427 AUTOMATICS:rlaugh:!!! and speedsters to rich old men all day long...:shrug:

Then the judges were idiots, or their criteria for judging is way off stream..To me, it should be about how clean a car is, not what mods it has..It should be about the paint quality, interior cleanliness, and over all engine bay look and cleanliness..Definitely NOT if its a friggin Shelby, Saleen or a Roush, that would be straight up stupid to judge a car based on that..

Yea it was sad all the 05+ mustangs that won something were special editions... If my cobra would have been there earlier it would have stolen the show i bet though... Atleast if the judges knew wtf they were looking at ... Its super dang clean.

I hope the classic Mustangs weren't in the same class. Anyone with money can buy a special edition Mustang off the showroom. It takes talent and effort to get a classic Mustang looking like new. All of that is why I no longer go to many shows. I prefer cruises where we can just enjoy our cars and conversation instead of watching trophies go to people with the most money.

I hate car shows where you go and see 10 Corvettes lined up next to each other fresh off the showroom floor, and they get all of the trophies  Also, special edition cars are great, but I think that car shows should be about the wrench time and work that you've put into a car. Modified cars deserve recognition...IF the owner did the mods. Also, detail work deserves props too, but I think that there should be a different class for show & shine. I've went to shows dedicated to 4x4 vehicles and not gotten a thing because I had mud and custom dents and pinstriping from ACTUALLY using my far more capable truck offroad. But I've also gotten trophies for my 1973 FJ40 land cruiser that is still a little rough, but I put over 3 months of wrench time in just to get it road worthy. I think its funny that some judges will give trophies to totally stock cars just because its a $50,000 special edition, but completely ignore a car that is a totally custom built one off.

Nah, they had "old school" prizes, and then "new school" prizes... Then top 20 mustang awards... Lol, what was so funny there wasnt that many stangs there.... 30 tops? Rest was mostly GTO's, TA's, and Vettess...
