i have 1994 gt the car runs fine no rough idle or anything but as soon as i turn on the a/c it starts to stumble and idle lopes and seems like it loses alot of power i know its gonna lose some but shouldnt be that much any ideas thanks for any ideas

Your IAC (idle air controller) is likely not working right. It lets more air into the engine at idle when there is an extra load, such as when the A/C is on. Do you have any problems turning on the A/C while driving, or is it just at idle?

just feels like loss of power but i understand thats gonna happen and then it gets hot then cool again unless thats just the way the mustang is like its hunting for idle it goes up to about fifteen hundred then feels like its gonna stall i upped the timing to 14 and it would stall at a light then i bumped up idle but as i said before it just feels like crap when a/c is on

I've been having the same problem. Time to start changing sensors out, after 80k on them, they tend to go out in this dry heat.

is there anywhere to buy a kit containing the major engine sensors like a tune up kit for sensors or pretty much buy one at a time and hope for the best
