94 GT red with grey cloth interior, 5 speed, he says it has cobra wheels.

guy says no rust and very very clean, but it has 146,000 miles.

guy won't say what he want's wants me to see and make a offer

NADA clean trade is $2525 and retail is $3875, not sure what the wheels would add, i like the wheels.

I am going later to see what should i offer if it is really clean?

Thanks again :D

I agree, 3000 - 3500 for a very clean all stock 5spd is about right. I will bet that the car has at least a few mods so let us know what you find out. Looks nice, wheels are nice. Don't care for the aftermarket lights but that is an easy fix.

thanks, think i will offer $3000 and see what happens, i am thinking $3500 would be good

i found those Cobra R wheels on American Muscle they are $150 each new

I may have finally found my car :)

i don't care for the grill either, but as you say easy fix and usally these cars at this age need new headlight assemblies anyway.

While the wheels are nice :nice:

I'd not let them be a deal maker or breaker :nono:

If I was really interested in that particular car, the wheels would not add
much more to the buy price as I see it

As a matter of fact ... I'd rather have a NO mod stang:)
but ... then again
An unmolested Stang ... especially one with stick trans :D

Be almost impossible to find such a car

ok, car is no rust that i can see anywhere, a few very minor lil blemishes in the paint. Nothing you see from 10 feet away. Interior is not perfect (a few small holes in front seats) I can buy leather seat covers.

the motor sounds built with a cam, Cobra upper intake, cold air intake, heavy duty racing clutch, welded sub frame connectors, aftermarket control arms in the rear, Hurst shifter. maybe front suspension mods.

Has a rattle when you rev it up like a ex pipe hitting

Scary part was seized for child support and he bought at action.

I offered $3500, he said no i offered $3800, he said he will think on it. If he says ok, i need to check it out more and drive it somehow as it is not licensed.

a bad cell pic of motor

Thats totally up to you, none of us here have seen it in person or driven it. If you like it then grab it, just dont let him talk you up in price if he starts mentioning that it has this for mods, and that for mods exc exc.... Modifications hardly ever add value to the sale of a car. I had over $10,000 dumped into my GT plus the price of the car and sold it for $7,200

+1 on the value of mods. 3800 for this car sounds more than fair. I know that was a cell phone pic, but is that overspray on the radiator, fan shroud and hose? Could be overspray from crash damage repair?

i thought was just dirty, pic was bad it was way overcast and raining. The paint seems newer than 17 years, i assume the car was painted when all the work was done. The paint is really good except a few tiny spots

Looks like the guy went nut-so on with the spray paint to me. Looks like he found a can of paint similar to the color of the car and just started spraying crap under the hood with out masking anything off.

But just to be sure, I'd take somebody to look at it that knows body work. It also wouldn't be a bad idea to get a Carfax, in case something does come up. I know when I bought my car I didn't start noticing the bodywork here and there until long after I purchased the car. But it didn't make much difference to me, I bought it for a more than fair price.

Okay, here's my two-bits worth: I know that the info lists subframe connectors, but did anyone else note the lack of a shock tower cross-brace? That would be a major concern for me, having the chassis flex side to side.:nono:

Kerry

The shock tower brace goes when you install a KB. Also the Cobra didn't have one as well. The SN95's are reportedly stiffer than the Fox's. I would be more concerned as to why there is over spray on the front of the engine.

i didn't have a strut tower brace for YEARS without any adverse effects. put one on and didn't notice a darn thing.

Ok the things that I have noticed from the pics is that someone got a little happy with the spraypaint. The ground wire going from the accesory bracket to the strut tower is not factory. It does have suspension work in the front end. It has caster camber plates and it looks to be lowered. Exterior looks good though. Like the hood, not sure on the grille or headlights and the mirrors look to be factory with the outsides painted to resemble the 03 cobra mirrors or they are the 03 cobra mirrors. Either way I think 3800 is a fair price for what is done to it. It just needs a weekend of work to pull the accessory brackets off and clean them up and take some overspray off the rest of the parts.

You have to take the strut tower brace off to put a Cobra intake on. The stock strut tower brace won't fit over that intake, you have to get an aftermarket one.

Funny, there is an extra ground, looks like it goes from the left strut tower to the coil bracket.
