The weather has taken a sudden turn towards autumn (dammitalltohell!:fuss: ), but I'm still hoping to get more work done on "sally's" front end this year. So instaed of wrapping her up for winter, I used my poly tarps to erect a tent off the side of the house over the driveway!!!
Here's the view looking out from the basement......:

In other news today, property values in this prestigious LI neighborhood have taken a downward slide following the erection of a questionable unknown extension onto one of its homes...

Progress!

Probably scared half the neighborhood with the noises from under the tent, but I made quite a bit of progress today!
Started by drilling the holes for my "shelby drop".....tha was 1" up and an 1/8" forward, right? ;)

Then I started installing my new front suspension, only thing left are the coil springs and shocks! Damn does she look good with the new control arms and spindles, etc........

Stll need a couple of parts for the steering........Pitman Arm and an Idler Arm Bracket.

After the steering goes in it will be time to start working on the "indoor / winter" projects..........re-painting the engine, cleaning and "shodding" her rims, finish rebuilding the brake calipers...................

I've actually made some progress too. The transmission came back from Astro Performance so now that I have the new clutch and flywheel in, I can put the transmission in once Summit sends me the replacement clutch fork for the defective one I had gotten.

Crap! You've got it all wrong. Fritz only gets the "Ol' Buddy" treatment when BOTH girls are there... we swap off between the blonde and the redhead.





In reality, I already have a Hungarian blonde, and Fritz has a brunette hottie.

Who sometime soon, real soon, will be asking him about the blonde/redhead tag-team in what Jacuzzi! :rlaugh:
