We got an SUV instead. BMW X3. Its really not that bad. Far better than a filthy POS minivan. Luckily my wife wouldnt be seen dead in one either, so I didnt have to deal with this. Good luck!!!

One of my goals in life is to get through it without ever owning a minivan. So far so good... And let's be honest there is nothing mini about them, they are vans.

SUVs suck just as bad. They are vans with a slightly different roofline and doors.

Thank God my wife swears off mini vans and lets me keep all my Mustangs and guns. My daughter loves riding in the back seat of my 04. Lol, the exhaust puts her right to sleep.

It's all good though. My wife doesn't ask for much, and shes worth it.

There isn't a damn thing wrong with that. Mine works her ass off, really doesn't ask a lot from me, and is just a good person. If there is something she wants I do everything in my power to make it happen.

jrp1588 Don't buy a Charger... wife and I have an '06 R/T and it's in the shop every few months for suspension work, the rear window motors have gone out three times, and overall everything about the car is cheap, cheap, cheap. If you need a sporty sedan I'd look at a BMW, if you need a reliable sedan hauler for cheap I'd look at the Chevy Impala... they're rental car plain but they are reliable as ever.

After my wife's 06 gt got totaled we picked her up an e90 with the thought of starting a family soon. Car moves out for bone stock. We had a fusion for a few months, but couldn't stomach it.

My mother has a 300c she has drove the dog out of. She has only had a problem with the headlights once. Other then that been a dead reliable car.

LOL. Yeah, my wife was convinced that my kids would not sleep in my car because it is so loud. Every single time I put them in the back seat, they are asleep within 10 min.

Stang got picked up this morning.. Wifey has picked a van, and on wed. we are trading off the expedition for a honduh.

You guys can say what you want, but that thing is nice. I think maybe whenever I ride in it, I may just make my wife drive, and I'll hang out in the back with my kids watching nemo.

As for the van, we ended up getting a honda. (I think im going to make a license plate for the front of it that says HONDUH ..) Once you get past the outside, the inside it nice. Has loads of buttons on it to play with. (was playing with the voice activated nav system when I got home from work today.) My wifey is happy, so that makes me happy. I'm back to driving the Grand Marquis. My biggest problem with that car is that it is too comfy.. Makes me fall asleap driving to work at 4:30 in the morning.
