I think a phone app for stangnet.com would be a good idea :)
That way everyone can have the site on the go.
for example; You're out and about, when all of a sudden you see a beastin' a$$ Stang..you want to take a picture but you dont want to wait until you get home to post it because you want everyone to see it now! thats when you pull out your phone, click the app and bam!!! Stangnet.com in the palm of your hands....

I have this awesome phone app called a "web browser" that does exactly what you're talking about. It's really cool, I check the site several times a day when I'm out and about.

:nice:

Come on guys.

This would be beast.

Like, if I just roasted a civic I could like totally post it as it happened.

Brahs don't be hating until you hear it all. Dat be like igmoint yo

Yes, a browser works, but it would be nice to dedicate the viewing experience in an app. I have way too many windows open for StangNet in my browser on my phone. I have given up on Tapatalk. StangNet.app would be awesome!

I never understood the point of having a bunch of tabs or windows open...what's the point? That's what bookmarks are for. I use a lot of tabs sometimes at home on my PC, but I don't spend enough time online on my phone to bother.

The only app we could make would be a private custom version of Tapatalk, so it would be the same experience. This new layout works nice in a phone browser and you can upload photos using it as well.

Hey Mike what's the photo storage limit around here these days? I haven't uploaded to the site in years.

I like the browser experience, don't get me wrong. When I click a link from my email to read the latest thread update, it launches another window in my mobile browser. I have to clean up my windows frequently. In my mind, the app could prevent that from happening. Tapatalk was okay, but I'll live.

There is most likely an option to open in the same window. If not maybe look into using a better browser.
