Nobody reads that crap! Owner's manual? Really?
Had a lady in the shop the other day with a chevy aveo, insisted her headlights came on automatically at night, after all, her other car had them, shes been driving around at night with just daytime running lights
Just drive it till the spark plugs fall out!

There you go again, over analyzing crap, all that thinking has gotta hurt, it gives me a headache just reading it.
I does conjure up the thought, if the copper plugs lasted for 80 to 100k miles in the 5.0's and platinum last longer, what fun would it be, you'd forget you even have any.
Exactly my wife's sentiments all the time! It drives her nuts. She says some know too much. I agree; I've experienced sh!t over my lifetime that few have, some helped, some hindered.

Last thing I would want is to cause headaches, though, so either I gotta lay off, or you gotta quit reading me. Neither is likely, ya gotta admit! :( imp

EDIT: Curious, what type of plugs does Ford supply OEM? This new 5.0 sitting here has factory plugs, never started yet, had them out years ago to squirt some lube in the cyls., but paid them no attention. I imagine they must be Motorcraft.

You faced the additional hindrance of dealing with a woman! Kinda leads one to think yer unencumbered by one......otherwise, you'd expect it. imp
