Midlife Crisis

It;s a strange new world out there now. You post a Craigslist ad out there for a room for a lady. Then you tell her what's up. Sounds weird, but it;s the new reality
I have a nice home ( that I own) more toys than I deserve... I go where I want, when I want... Why would I want to bring a PROBLEM ( most women) into my world??????????

Do you mean close friends and family with the FAT wives????? The truth hurts..
You go guy...... Some recommendations from a divorcee at 39 who will be 67 next month..
#1... NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER get married again... Live with them, love them, do em all, but NEVER marry again.........
Think about a Vasectomy..... No need to to explain this one
No boo hooing about the EX... Enjoy the future life that has been givin to you........
NO joint checking accounts with anyone else.... ITS YOUR MONEY....... Didn't you give away enough to the EX??????
Get a dog if you get lonely..... BETTER pal than my ex EVER was.... AND they are chick magnets....
I ask "Sir" Bentley if he wants to go look at furniture or go to the harley store and he ALWAYS says the Harley store.......
Enjoy life, wish I could do it over again.......
Thank you for the advice. Seriously. I do have my eyes looking ahead. The blessing in my situation is that the ex and I are civil, and split everything right down the middle, with no fighting, and no kids.

Good for you... The no kid clause makes things 90% easier in a divorce. Not only money wise but the hurt in not having them with you every night..

I’ll be the exception. I truly don’t understand the projection of, “my marriage was miserable. Everyone else’s must be, too.”

Married eleven years. Four kids. Wife is a sexy, petite 5’6” with great boobs, as you all have no doubt read.

Suum cuique.
If your referring to me, I did not say that... But what i DID say is every person I met who went ON AND ON about their BEAUTIFUL wife was lying through their teeth after I met the wife..... And I mean HORRIBLE inside and out.... Most of the guys who said it were definitely the BETA"S at there ( or I should say their WIFES) home........ Eleven years? Lots of time for her to come home someday and tell you " I am unhappy"........

And while I envy you, YOU are in the MINORITY who can say this

My only comment on this is " what if SHE changes her mind about you? I can assure you there is NOTHING you can do if this happens.......
Why be negative?
I think if you find a good one hang on for dear life.
I have one of those 'good ones'. I have a pretty good life :nice:
I'm glad for the ones that work at their relationships.

Basically, this boils down to, "oh, you think you have a good marriage now? Just you wait..."

We've had bad times before. There were times when one or both of us were unhappy for whatever reason.

Being happy is nice, but it's not the ultimate point of a marriage. There's a reason the stock wedding vows make a point of emphasizing "for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health". The good times are not guaranteed.

I'm not saying this about you, but I think far too many people these days throw in the towel when they realize that the honeymoon eventually will end.

I lived a failed one and since the 28 years that happened, I have seen almost all fail I know of.....
As I said I envy you and wish you the best..... But the odds are stacked against you.......

What is she doing now, and do you talk. Sorry, but now with too much info I have to ask.
She hugged me at our sons funeral about 18 months ago... man oh man, has she been putting too much gravy on the potatoes...LOL
forgive me if I have been giving TMI here, I get sidetracked sometimes.......
