Progress Thread Komo's 1990 GT - Parts Gathering Purgatory & Home Remodel

Finally got my Harland Sharp TFS Specific Rockers in. They actually came in a few weeks ago but i had them sent to my parents address since i was still living there at the time (ordered like 3 months ago or something). Went back to pick up some other things and grabbed them as well. And here they will sit for probably a long time:

When it comes time to finally move the stang back into the garage, I should be able to move it just running off battery alone right? Only need to pull it forward, back it up into the steep driveway and into the garage... car shouldn't be on for more than 3 minutes. Battery voltage was at 12.4v when i tested it the day i had it towed. I've disconnected it the entire time its been sitting (since May) and have another 2 months go roughly.

Siding in the front is going up. They insulated the entire house. Drywall inside is roughly half complete. New "chimney" and gas fireplace being installed. Deck railings being worked. Our custom bathroom vanities will be delivered and installed next week. Our spiral staircase is almost complete and ready to be shipped to the house for installation. Stucco on the sides and rear of the house commences next week. Bathroom tile starts next week and then i believe either interior paint or floors are next, cant recall. Lots going on but lots more to do.

Pics or it never happened…
Surprisingly I didn’t get one of the front of the house, but here’s some drywall photos lol

And downstairs will be soon:

I’ll grab a photo of the exterior on my way home.

Also our new expensive BigAssFan came. Our previous one (the main big living room ceiling fan) mysteriously went 'missing' during demo. Sort of a gray area on the fan because items were supposed to marked as 'keep' before demo started but they started demo before asking us what we wanted to keep. All the other ceiling fans were kept... so i think some demo guy got a nice fairly new expensive ceiling fan based on a technicality. But, literally everything else that was left in the house is accounted for, so sort of weird. Anyways, i reordered another one and will hopefully have to do some negotiating with the construction company to get reimbursed.

They are expensive for what they are for sure. But, they look nice and are almost a ‘statement’ piece in the room. Some cool features as well as far as a fan goes.

We have a ‘big’ one for the living room, and another smaller one for our master. The other bedrooms get your run of the mill Home Depot fans.

This was last night it was pitch dark in the house so crappy photo with my flash.

Entire upstairs is now dry walled and they have the main living room ceiling all dry walled. We moved out of my neighbors house this morning and back into my parents (they are gone on vacation) so won’t be able to just watch the progress daily from above. Our neighbors view of our house:

Not the best photo but if they wanted to they could look down into our yard. Cool but not cool, they have a little boy about the same age as my daughter and they love being able to see each other.
