Hi everyone - posting from Nashua, New Hampshire. Bought a ‘90 LX 5.0 7-Up convertible just in time to put it away for the winter, lol!
I’ve admired them ever since I saw one at O.C. Welch in Beaufort, SC new on the lot - but $20k in 1990 dollars was too much. Had forgot about them until I saw one this summer and started looking for a good example.
Found one in central MA with only 37k miles, so about 1k per year. Lived its former life just south of DC, so it’s pretty much rust free and I’ll be keeping it garaged Nov - April.
Solved a few issues already - new power door lock actuators, middle exhaust pipe, key & light chime, and fixed a check engine light (bad TPS).
Still need to get the wrinkles out of the convertible top and find a boot & bag for it. And do some deep jewel green touch up. But that’s pretty much all it needs.
Look forward to sharing with & learning from you all!
