    ac and smog are gone. few small things with it and most of the wiring hid. once i get rid of this valve train noise i can get back on it. got more things i wanna do, far from done. :D

    man im in the same boat. :) if it aint one thing its another. i hope to have mine started next if a few parts show up. btw dunno the a part # for the pointer, but im pretty sure the bolts that hold it are a 5/16. ones about 2 in and the other 1 1/2.

    thxs rio! i was reading an old thread on fox tb swaps and you had the same pic in the thread. so i thought that could work. i might get the swap parts anyway and do it later down the road. thxs paul! im pretty happy with the way its going. took a lil bit, but im not trying to rush.

    thxs! i already have a 1in spacer just so the intake can clear the vc's. im prolly just going to read up on the fox tb swap. good thing is i hear accufab makes a 90mm tb. bad thing is it sets me back cuz ill have to look for more parts. :(

    threw on the elbow/tb so i could measure for my cai..ran into a problem. sensor hits on the vc's and the elbow hits it in the back. either some kinda spacer or go ahead and do a swap to a fox style tb. :shrug: and heres some better ones. 2 things i dont like. the overflow bottle.. maybe...

    thxs guys!! hopefully its been worth the wait. plate was used to ****** out the old motor. also to put the new one in. made things ez. if ya aint too far id gladly help ya out. :nice:

    its cool. i should have been a lil more patient. im sure i wont have a problem selling the other vc's. theyre really nice peices. btw i might have to bother a few of you guys about hiding wires. :)we'll see.

    the alternator didnt clear, so i ended up buying the same ones opal has on his. i tried again at a later time to see exactly where they hit. ended up grinding the alt some and gotta em on. :nice: only problem i have now is the oil dipstick. tried to use a tube bender but ended up snapping...

    cant wait to be up and running!! :D thxs 95opal for responding about the vc's. i messed with these a lil more and got them to fit. so ill have to sell the other ones.
