    I already bought the rockers but they aren't dynacorns. They do have the middle plate welded to them, which should be a plus, we will see how it goes. Any thoughts on boxing in the ends? I'm not sure if that would help keep water out or just keep water in.

    Yeah I was measuring from the middle of the hole. I think part of the problem is that where the rear window slot was is a little bit bent in on mine, and I have a hard time measuring to where the middle striker hole is because of my door brace being in the way.

    my measurements ended up being about 1/4" more than yours, but it's even from side to side (with the original driver side rocker in place). If you don't mind, can I get a measurement from the top front corner of the quarter panel to the body panel intersection just above the plunger hole? Thanks

I already have door braces in, and my rockers don't look as bad as the ones pictured above, but they are bad enough to want to replace. from the outside my torque boxes look like they're in good shape, would it be better to just remove them to get the inner rocker...

    Ok, according the graph of the curve, it should have about 2 degrees of advance at 500 rpm, and about 8 degrees at 2000 rpm. So I set the timing at 2000 rpm for 18 degrees, so it should be at 12 degrees at 500 rpm. I slowly unscrewed the idle speed screw to bring the idle down, while watching...
