    To Mikepotts j/k, btw... ive never had problems clearing an X cam with stock heads and pistons (uncut). just dont use 1.7 rockers with it! you can use either a B or E with 1.7's with no trouble I suggested the flycutting to be safe. I had the X and still flycut. 542 lift... isn't that...

    Heads To me I think they are very important and worth spending money on. I got TFS High Ports CNC ported to the max from Rick at Fox Lake Performance. 2.08 intake 1.65 exhaust. Almost $4000 on heads alone. I figured only buy them once, they are good for 8's if I ever went nuts with the car.

    Heads Your only going to buy them once, so I'd save up and buy TFS High Port. The originals that started it all. Raised exhaust ports, don't even need to port them they flow like mad....
