    Hey guys, thinking of doing a manual to auto swap. I currently have a stockish 302 but am considering a 460 swap.. it would be fun ;) Does anyone have experience with a C4 trans on the highway? This would be a regular driver, and I know the C4's can handle the power of a 460... a built AODE...

    Why did I stomp an 85 GN to 60 MPH?

    The GN is no uber car... stock its a 14-second car, just like the 5.0's. I know yours is AOD but maybe with the gears it was enough. Since it's from the 80's, even though it looked nice there's no way to tell from the outside how the engine is running.

    I would not bother with a catted h-pipe just seeing as how expensive they are... have you considered catting your off-road h? That's what I did... worked out pretty well.

    Haha nice... I had to stop myself from getting Lakewoods and lower control arms, because that would put me way over the top in budget which is already out of control from draglites. Let me know how the 70/30's are, since most people get 90/10's :)

    I didn't hear ANYTHING about this until my speed shop told me they can't get my draglites, aluminum driveshaft and mechanical battery switch in because Pennsylvania is flooded :shrug: Holy crap!! I almost didn't believe it at first until I looked it up. What the hell's going on down there...
