    New exhaust

    I am going to a 2 1/2" exhaust with Flowmaster 40 series mufflers and was wondering how they will fit or will they hang too low.     Performer 289 or RPM Air Gap

    I have an 88 5.0 HO with the stock cam and 1.7 roller rockers in my II with a C4, 2500 stall converter and 3.80 gears. It now has the performer 289 intake. Will a RPM Air Gap be a better intake or should I stick with the one that I have?
