    have this roaring noise.....help!!!

    i know this is an old post, but rather than make a new post, I will ask anyway. I just installed a new spindle and am getting ready to put a new hub on also. Do i just slide the new hub onto the new spindle and torque the retainer nut down or do i need to grease anything first?

    e brake problem????

    it got better today but it still isn't fully engaging. No more nasty creaking noise though when the car is rolling with it engaged. The ebrake is supposed to automatically adjust in the newer stangs I thought but I could be wrong

    im having the same problem. I replaced the whole rear in my car and did the brakes at the same time and now the car keeps rolling and making a nasty creaking noise when the handbrake is engaged.

    In rainy weather, better to inflate or deflate tires???

    my car always does this. It's from the live axle, the rear shimmies a little bit and moves back and forth ever so slightly. You can especially feel it on bumpy roads.

    Water temp install ?

    Yes, I used a coolant drain plug in the block and my gauge is dead on. It's down near the freeze plugs right behind the motor mount on the Driver's side. I'm sure someone has a pic they can show you if you can't find it. I forget the size of the adaptor you have to use, I think it's the 3/8...

    mine does it too right when the car shifts, usually from 1-2 and 2-3. I figured it's belt slip. Hope it's not the diff cause I don't have money for 4.10's yet :D

    i have an 01 and it's also like this. Mine's auto. I turn off o/d when I accel and it's fine. A tune should fix it.
