    A line lock is prefered and just plain easier and safer to do a burnout. All you may do to your brakes is glaze the rear pads and put a lot of heat into the rears which could cause them to fade which isn't really all that bad but I like to keep stress of the parts when it's not really necessary...

    Overheating a street tire will actually DECREASE it's ability to grip. All you need to do is drive around the water and do a quick clean-off burn out to get the loose gravel and dirt off.

    6.17 gears too much?

    Close on the motor. It does share the 03 cobra heads, but it has a one off intake, 10.0:1 compression, and Navigator intake cams + custom exhaust cams. It shares this motor with only one other vehicle, the Marauder. Autos cut off at 5800, manuals stop at 6800.
