    I picked up some 3/4" and some 1" long bolts and the threads match. I didn't have time to play around in the garage today but I'll have to see if the 1" long bolts will fit.

    What size bolts do I use to bolt the tailshaft to the insulator? The trans is a HEH-P and I see it’s a 64 trans that originally had the 25-spline output shaft. The bolts from the C4 are too big.

    Maybe try restabbing the distributor one tooth forward or backward? You could also try reinstalling the points just to make sure it’s not the point’s conversion. I know the pertronix can quit without any notice.

    I know there is one that fits a 65-68 4 speed but it’s the stock shifter. Is the Hurst similar in size and location of the levers as the stock Ford unit? I don't have a Ford shifter to compare. The part I see must be a reproduction but I don’t see a part listed for 69-73.
