    I just changed my tranny fluid an hour ago and motor oil poured out when i took out the drain plug. Now there's Dex/Merc III in there and it's like butter. Like butter I say. Now I understand what my short shifter was supposed to feel like all along. Used cars suck.

    I found the filler plug. I wasn't going to run gear oil. Best guess is it was motor oil in the tranny. I think im just going to use a funnel and a hose from the engine bay. I've taken my shifter off at least seven times...I wanna try somethin new. Thanks for all your help.

    ok its off...yea once u explained it i found it in two seconds but thanks for those awesome pictures. Now this is real weird. The tranny fluid was beige or whatever just like new engine oil. But it smells like a sour apple. That's the only way to describe it. What the hell was in there? :shrug:

    I took a small pan off of the lower driver side of the tranny...no fluid came out. Inside it was a metal flange attached perpedicular to a cable that leads up through the engine compartment. This isn't going well. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

    Is there anywhere I can find directions on how to completely remove the smog pump? And by that I mean capping off all needed vacums and hoses to make the car run as it did prior to the procedure. Also, is any power gained by doing this?...or is it just a small parasitic power thing that bothers...

    well heres the thing...there was a 6 then a 7 then a six without pause...i looked it up in the book from the actron code scanner that i have and 676 says what ive posted previosuly. im just wondering what to do about the problem...i dont wanna argue about whether the code exists or not.
