    Clutch Swap with Magnacharger

    Anybody had to put a new clutch in after installing a Magnacharger blower? I'm in for 30K on the stocker and she's shot. Can the transmission be removed without having to undo the front motor mounts to tip the engine? It's tight back there.

    The end of 04 was a tough time for me and Ford for sure. Still a fan as I sold a 2007 Z06 to buy the GT500. Who knew Ford doesn't make Corvettes...Just because you don't have a Stang you are driving a very nice ride. We had a Lariat F150 for seven years of faithful service.

    Magnacharger kit was easy to install, started the first crank, and has run flawlessly for about 2-3 yrs. Experiment if you want, but no way but tried and true for me.

    Funny thread, you are dealing with the same two issues I had with mine. Mine has the SVTPP wheels so replacements for the cool weather are tough. Ended up with these Michenlin Pilots. Santa brought this Rockford Fosgate 12" 300 watt sub enclosure and it put bass back in my Shelby!

    To answer the questions 1: The instruction set I have has an additional sheet in the front of the manual that states to install the calibration FIRST. Mine came with the SCT Xcalibrator 2. It only offers 1 tune to load and the procedure saves the stock tune before writing the new program...

    Done. The first start it did not even sputter. It fired right up no problems. I just got back from my second time out and it is basically the same car if you don't put your foot into it. When you get over about three grand on the tach....wow! :jaw: Basic mechanical skills and awsome...
