    Billet Fuel Door

I know I have seen the 2001 Bullitt fuel door on 94-98 Mustangs, so I would say "probably yes" to your question. Give LRS a call or go to their website at www.50resto.com. I know they sell them and can tell you for sure.

Where do I get the best 03 cobra tune in Texas?

Have you contacted Dallas Mustang? They are off of loop 635 and I know they have a dynojet. I am pretty sure they do tunes too as that's who builds the limited production 1966 Teralingua Racing Team Mustang. I saw their shop last October and it's nice as are the Teralingua cars! :spot:

    Help:96 cobra center caps

Call LRS at 1-866-507-3786. I am looking at their 2004 94-04 catelog on page 77 and it looks like they have a cap like you want for $21.95 each. Not sure by the picture, but they can tell you. The description is 94-95 GT with 17" #LRS1130J. Good luck!

Dude I'd love to run in the 12's! Nice job!!! So because you gave a lower time the Vette got to start one light on the tree before you? Do I understand that correctly?

    99 Cobra/Magnaflow X-Pipe & Cat Back System

Three questions for you: 1) Does it feel like you lost any on the low end? 2) Does the X-Pipe hang a lot lower than the stock H-Pipe? 3) Was the install of the X-Pipe hard to match up to the stock headers?

    Cobra vs SRT-4

I watched two SRT's last weekend race several times against 03/04 Mach1's plus an 03 stock Cobra. As long as the Stangs got good launches, they'd beat them by 2 cars. The one race I saw with the 03 Cobra, the driver of the Cobra was a girl (don't flame me ladies) and she could not shoot from a...

    Couple basic questions...96-98 Cobra

I use Quaker State's new 100% synthetic oil. 6 quarts for everyday driving or 6.5 to 7 quarts for racing conditions.

    1997 Cobra

The clunking sound in the rear may be your gears grinding. The car may have been driven hard. As for the subs going out, sounds like you might have a loose connection. Both of the amps are mounted in your trunk. There are two connectors for each amp. Make sure they are snapped in all the way.

    98 Terminator

Too many other fuel/electrical changes would be required. KennBell makes a twin screw supercharger for 96-98's for around $3600 that will mount right up. Supposed to be good for an additional 125hp!

    Pics of 285/40/17 GS-D3's on stock 17's

Yeh that's what mine looks like except I have 10.5" wheels. The 285's fill my wheels up perfectly to the rim and the Eagle F1's have the protective lip to keep from getting curb rash! Rock on!!!

    Hi, new Cobra owner

Man he nailed it here about the kids! My poor two daughters get enough junk from the grandparents, so I just split the expendable cash with the wife. I have found a great forum for SVT ownere is svtperformance.com. Go check it out. Lot's of good stuff. As for the FRPP catback, cancel your...

    New person with '97 Cobra...

Sounds like this car also has swapped out gears to throw off the speedo and a short throw shifter to make all the noise from the tranny. The hood's gotta go and that's not a vent below the cup holder.....it's a place for small coinage. How much tradein did your gf get on her car? With all of...

Are you glad you got a Cobra?

Yep, mines not a daily and I hardly ever take it somewhere where I will be inside for very long. I've not driven a Cobra with IRS, but I prefer the solid axle. IRS would be good for road course racing which is what I actually plan to do with mine for fun. But having the solid axle is better...

    trying to figure out weight(approx)

The SVT Recognition Guide reports the factory weight on 96-98 Cobra Coupes was 3,391. The verts were about 140 lbs. heavier. The 99+ Cobras are about 50 lbs heavier than the 96-98's.

    96-98 cobra or 98 up ls1

Get what you like. I am a Mustang fan, so I'd never buy an LS1. I think the 96-98 Cobra is one of the best looking muscle cars ever made. However the 03/04 look really tough too. Other than the TransAm and the Camaro SS, I think Firebirds and Z28's are really plain looking.

Will a catback help me gain low end?

Most will say it won't help you much, but I can testify I saw a huge difference, especially in 1st gear. Second is still a little sluggish, but better than with the stock exhaust. I don't think you really risk losing low end unless you rid of the back pressure from the stock H-pipe with cats...

    Wheel Spacers

As long as they are made out of Billet 1061(?) aluminum they should be safe for racing too.
