    I have the al4d tranny. And how far did you jack up the engine Hunter Zero? I hope I can get mine out without having to hoist my engine out.

    Well the only line that was in the way was the coolant line, and I moved that out of the way. The exhaust isn't in the way though. And I think when I try to remove the oil pan its hitting the oil sump pump preventing it from coming completely out.

    I got the engine about 4 inches up, but its still hitting the oil sump pump I think. I put the engine at TDC and raised the engine by putting a length of 2x4 under the harmonic balancer and jacking it up with a floor jack. Every time I tried jacking the engine up further, it started lifting up...

    My oil pan on my 87 non turbo stang is rusted to crap, so I bought a new one and unbolted the old one, but I can't get it off. The steering mechanism and the crossmember(?) are preventing it from coming out. I tried jacking up the engine but I still don't have enough clearance. I was thinking...

    The wiring might be different because you have a notchback and I have a coupe maybe, I'm not sure why they are different colors actually. :shrug: Thanks for the help though.
