    highest mileage on a four cam Cobra??

    34k on my 03 cobra I bought in 02... I love to drive it and I will continue to do... for those that have a car 8 years and only drive on nice sunday's... I am glad I am not your car - the only non ford slogon I like is "Grab life by the horns" :nice:

    Headlights...mine suck!

    Mustang lights have never been very good, the brights just suck... My 86, 99, 2002, and now my 03 cobra have all had crappy lights... high beams on my 02 explorer just rock... light up the sides of the road and trees very well...

    Exhaust... again

    In my sig are videos of various sounds of the offroad x and magnaflow cb.... I haven't found a better sound, but sound is a preference. Even at a casual take off, my combo isn't too loud... and it makes all camaro's and ricers think twice about throwing me a rev at a light.

    K&N FIPK and offroad x question

    The K&N alone did produce a feel of gains... very noticable... tires felt slick even though they were in great shape... but the offroad x-pipe... I did notice a drop in low end torque and I suspect the A/F is lean.... so... I removed the x until I can get to a dyno... with my new baby due / new...

    My ford dealer stated no need for change, sealed unit. Since ford says no change, I think 50k miles would be time for fresh oil :)

    Magnaflow at 80 cruising speed??

    It isn't loud at all with stock h pipe... switch to catless mid pipe like the bassani offroad x and it is very loud at WOT.. but even then... just cruizing along is nice and enjoyable...

    SVT/Mach 1 vs. SRT-4 Decision

    It would take a ton of mods with nos and I would still have to doubt you could keep up with a Cobra.... Just think what you want and pick what you want... making sure you can afford what you want and won't regret what you got (make sence?)

    8500 would be a steal! Pick up a nice v-6 somewhere and implant this motor...wow.. some cheap thrills :)

    Shop recommendation for Procharger install ?

    I want 630 hp... I think I will get it with my setup and the P-1SC-2 Stage I Procharger System @ 15PSI.. Problem is, who in the world do I trust this task too? I live in SE Missouri and don't mind hauling the cobra in with my Z-71. Just wondering if anyone had any ideas.

    Which upgrades First?

    From what I found out modding the heck out of my 99 GT... get GEARS!!!! 410's is the lowest I would go with a stock IRS... but the gears, drop in k&n, b&m ripper shifter, sub-frame connectors are a must, then a performance tune of some kind is all you need until you get blown...

    I would almost bet my next check that he doesn't have the wires/plugs seated correctly OR the gasket between the k&n and the MAF is not in the correct holes...

    Stock air box with a pully? You have at least 40 HP waiting to be gained from a K&N FIPK 2 system... BullittStangV8 - if you are NA - a drop in K&N is all you need, you might only gain 2 hp with the full kit... now if you get blown... then you will need the FIPK2 from k&n... I admit I...

    U.M. - thanks for explaining that about the predator :nice: I have been researching which programmer to get. I was leaning towards the hypertech because of the gains they showed on horsepower TV... 40 horses!

    K&N trouble

    Also, make sure the gasket is seated correctly. It only seats correctly in the four holes. Ensure the seating is correct on the throttle body as well. Wires and hoses should be connected just like they were on the stock system. Has your car ever stalled before? In either case, the flash...

    x-pipe with cats and without cats make the difference in the loudness of the exhaust. I like the bassani x-pipe... when you get tired of the loudness, or going on a long trip... you can remove the race tubes and swap them for the included cats... this in my opinion is the #1 reason I went with...
