ha! It took me FOREVER to find 10.5s in the original factory finish...only one company makes them now... However, I still have my 97 wheels if you need an extra set (CHEAP)!!!:D
Well, no I haven't called them because I have pretty much decided to put them on anyway. They have to be a little louder than the Dynomax that I have now.
Currently I have Dynomax magnums with turdowns (due to 10.5s out back). Anyway, I have a chance to get some Steeda bolt ins and was wondering if anyone has heard them. I am having trouble finding sound clips and mustangexhaust.com is still down. They would be mated to bassani equal length...
Gratz..
Now you just need a set of SLPs, and some Bassani pipes and tips, and a maximum motorsport bolt in roll cage, and two extra cobra rs with tires.....
oh wait, your in luck I happen to have all of that for sale!
That is a very decent price..... got mine for 5k with 130k miles.... It has a lot done to it though...
I have 4.30s in the rear. If you want some get up in these cars and be able to keep it streetable, a 4.30 is a perfect gear for cobras. Put some of these in and you will have to surgically...
97 snake here....
I had on of the "forgotten stepchildren" before as well, a 98 GT (among others). So I feel your pain.
The cobra has the following mods:
AJE racing tubular K member
Lakewood 90\10 struts
D&D coil over conversion kit
UPR caster/camber plates
HPM full length frame...
Shouldn't he have 2.73s stock?
FWIW, if you have a loose hangar that is vibrating when you are on the highway, it can sound like the whole chassis is coming apart if it is bad enough.
