    Basically I think it depends 100% where you live, here I don't have to worry about it one bit, and as for the cops, they don't care either, I know all but 3 or so by name and went to school with 3 or 4 of them. We have about 10 cops here.

    It could be the alternator how you are describing, basically with the lights and the radio alone fox alternators struggle, then you add on the electric fan and it will struggle that much more, I say alternator upgrade time.

And for the smog, do you still have the smog pump and all the vac lines ran, or did you remove them too, if not you need to, as well as your cats. I have seen some springs collapse on a hard landing before also, did you see any...

    Most likely just the oil inside and outside the pipe from production, mine did the same thing, give it a day of driving and check it.

    Foxbody front wheel fitment

    What type wheel are you wanting, my 15X6 rodlites rubbed on the two little tabs that hold the outer brake pad in place, but you can just grind that off, mine are 3.5 bs, the two tabs were my only problem, but only took about 2 minutes to solve.

    I've seen a bone stock 5.0, dyno at I think around 186hp and between 250 to 275 for the torque, that's bone stock, all 4 cats, stock air box/filter and all smog equipment etc etc.

    When I removed my cats and smog and tab tad completely I got and still get no codes at all, I removed everything but the egr and carbon can:shrug:

    No, it doesn't mean the egr is bad, just make sure the vacuum line going to the egr doesn't have constant vacuum, you may go ahead and pull the egr off and clean the passages on the throttle body while your at it, and clean the egr also.

    I too am looking for a fix to this problem, except mine will go ahead and dis-engage if I put it into drive or reverse, still does it when I put it back into park or neutral though.

    I bet your egr valve is the culprit. Pull the vacuum line from the egr and see if it idles correctly, if the egr has vacuum at idle it will cause your problems, I doubt very seriously that it's your iac.
