    I have not noticed the problem before, but it is hard to find enought road to wind it up that hard. It is exactly like you both describe. I have a new stock coil sitting on the shelf, when I get a chance I might change it out and see what happens.

    No just a naturally asperated 351W. The shop that did the machine work and helped me spec the parts (9 years ago) said I should be in the 425 - 450 hp range at the flywheel, but dont know for sure, never been on a dyno. CHRIS

If you go back to parts america and put in 1976 instead of 1978 you will see only 1 for either power or manual but if you put in 1977 you will see a start up date of 6/27/77 for the different power end.     If you are looking for springs tire rack was a special on thier Kazera springs, the give you 1.9 drop in the front and 1.6 in the rear. This is thier house brand but they are made by H&R with the same rating as the H&R sports for $119. I just put a set in my 97 cobra. CHRIS
