    site for rare $22 t-handles

Maybe I'm the last mustang owner to find one, but I finally got my hands on a NEW t-handle with the 4-speed shift pattern and brushed aluminum finish. . . FOR UNDER $25 BUCKS!!!! I've seen those with "HURST" written on them everywhere, but only saw the 4-speed pattern on e-bay for...

    big weekend for the windsor

Okay, I've decided that instead of buying heads, intake, and cam for my windsor this summer, I will wait until I can do the entire engine the way I want it all at the same time. However, I am taking it to have the starter fixed tomorrow and wondered how much trouble it would be to add a new...

    Installing new camshaft

Wow, nice setup. . .exactly what I had been contemplating except for the intake. will that air gap fit under a stock hood, or do you just not care?? I am trying to build a sleeper, so I was gonna go with a performer RPM or something like that. otherwise, I'm going with 2.5" duals, afr 185's...

    S.O.S.!!! Dead in the street!

That all sounds good, but how about this plan. I will keep spraying under the hood and complain to my father over and over about how the car won't start, then beg to switch to an MSD system!! think that'd work???

How vital is garaging a classic Stang?

I have forced every other car in our family out of the garage to make room for my stang, and my '58 ford pickup, because newer cars can take the weather better than the oldies. (at least that's what I tell my parents) Just 2 nights ago I watched the hail bounce off of my grand prix while I stood...

    S.O.S.!!! Dead in the street!

It was a nice afternoon out, so I figured I'd take the stang for a spin and a little car wash. The drive was nice, but I should have skipped the wash. :bang: After I got done with the outside, I sprayed down the engine (yes, I let it cool for a coupla hours before spraying the engine)...

I'm surprised no one saw this

LOL hahahahahahaha. I personally like the "club" sitting on the dash, as well as the yellow scented pine trees hanging from each seat. those wheels would look nice on a hummer, maybe. hahaha wow, can't stop laughing. I don't know which is funnier. . . the bidding is at 15,000 and he wants...

matching an intake with AFR heads

so the only one short enough is the performer rpm and the port sizes don't match up??that sucks!! could i gain any extra room if I made my mach 1 scoop functional?? it's a pretty small scoop (compared to the huge Boss scoop) so I don't know if there would be room. but if that worked, would...

matching an intake with AFR heads

I just mean for the most power. I've heard that using components built by the same manufacturer work better together (to get power, gas mileage, torque, etc.) than mixing and matching parts from 4 or 5 or 6 different builders. maybe this isn't the case. I've heard that AFR's are good heads...

matching an intake with AFR heads

sorry, I shoulda said this earlier. I can't cut the hood at all 'cuz it's a sleeper, so it won't work to have a REAL tall intake. Also I have an Edelbrock 750 carb. I don't know if that makes any diff. thanks for th help, though! any other ideas?

matching an intake with AFR heads

I am thinking about getting some new AFR heads for my windsor, but AFR doesn't make an intake to match up with any of them. Would it be ok to use an Performer RPM intake and the cam kit that's sold with it, or is there a better intake to use with AFRs???

My new engine! (for 70 mach 1)

If you got the Victor Jr. heads and intake to fit under your hood with no mods or cuts, let me know how. you've replied to a couple of my other threads about a windsor upgrade and I think I've decided to order some AFR heads, possibly a performer intake or whatever else will match up, and a...

I need a muscle car sound

i think a couple more bends in the pipe would surprise you as to how much quieter it'd get. You'll still hear it loud and clear, tho.

How do I make my hoodscoop functional??

I had always liked the look of the mach scoop over the larger boss scoop, but it would look awesome to see the filter through the scoop. Kinda like the new cobra! e-mail me a pic if it isn't too much trouble.
