    i have a 04 gt 5spd i make 262 hp and 301 trqe. with the usual bolt ons.. intake, catback, midpipe, throttle body, plenum, 4.10s but that doesnt add power. i dont have headers or pullys and cams..

    the problem is the two places i trust, every time i was there they never heard the noise becuase it never happend while it was there. they never drove it long enough to make it happen.. if i have someone check the u joints and drive shaft that might help. about 3 months ago the mechs did tell me...

    i have the stock drive shaft.. i cant compare the noise to anything else. its not a whine or a whistle. best way to descrive it is a ringing noise. i also thaught it might be the drive shaft but not sure about that either.. itll happen every time i drive but not all the time.. thats the thing...
