    If you're not setting any codes other than p1000, the last thing you want to do is clear the codes, other wise you'll be starting from scratch, trying to complete all the drive cycles.

    Buy the tuner first, cause you're going to need it anyway when you do gears, to correct your speedo. But definetely do gears. Without gears, the rest of the mods aren't nearly as effective.

    If you sucked up enough water to hydraulic the engine, I'd bet it damaged your maf sensor, since all that water went through it.

    i had droppings on one of my vehicles. Cleaned it off and used silicone spray on everything. It never came back. They might not like silicone. Worth a try. If nothing else it might make things too slippery for the little buggers.

    Don't forget that unless the torque converter clutch is locked, the rpm values per gear are not quite right due to the torque converter slip

    If your auto is shifting at 5500 rpm that is too low for the pi cams. Shift manually and I'm sure you'll run quicker. Just remember to shift about 300 to 400 rpm sooner than you want the shift to take place. Probably 500 sooner on the 1-2 shift and 300 on the 2-3.

    The o2 sensors aren't used at wide open throttle because you then go into open loop. a leak at the iat sensor should be fixed, but the leak would be slight and not much of a factor at wide open throttle.     I've found with the mils, that everytime I reset the computer, cat efficiency codes would set after a few days of driving. But if I didn't clear the codes, the light would go out and wouldn't set again. If I cleared the codes, they would set again. So don't panik.

    Normally you disconnect the cable at the transmission. Put the shifter in neutral. then move the lever or crank arm on the transmission, into neutral. Put them together and tighten the nut, and all should be good.

    I'm happy with my 3.73's. Good for .2 in the quarter. They're nice on the highway. I'm pretty happy with my e/t's for what I've done and don't know if 4.10's would be that much better.

    I love my 3.73's on the highway. You'd be at about 2300 rpm and the engine will will sound so sweet. Fuel economy will barely drop on the highway and city will be a little better.
