    Rear axle play. How much is ok?

    Last month durring tech, they shook the rear of my car and thought maybe a wheel was alittle loose because of a noise we heard, but was aloud to run after checking all corners. Today while chasing a brake noise, I pulled on my right rear wheel and i can hear the axle moving. Not enough to see it...

    I'm up for Saturday night if anyone wants. not a bad price at all! I'm sure you will enjoy them. I drop a total of 2 inches in the front and about 1-1/4 in the rear. I didn't reinstall the insulators in the front, which is why it went lower. Should have trimmed the rears 1/4 of a coil or so...

    Well, I'm not sure where rockland county is, but if your car is less then 2 years old, you don't have to worry about emision testing(not sure about down state). Around here, most shops don't even look to see if the emission equipment is still hooked up. Jay

    Thanks again. I had the chance to realy get a feel for the car Sunday at the autocross at FMCC. The guys at the local chapter of scca put on a great event. If you've never done it befor, you got to go and try it. They give a lot of good advice to new people, and they make you feel right at home...

    94gtny, trans cooler shouldn't be too hard, but I'm not too good with valve bodies. I know a couple of the other guys on here are techs.90whitepony is anyway. I'm cheap too. :D Thats why I went with the FRPP C springs. I got the Cobra front struts and Mach1 Tokico rears through NewCountry...

    94gtny, Mines black stock wheels. Love the springs! could have gone a little lower in the back. But otherwise they are great. :D It'll be the first I get to run the car, so I can't wait.

    tire size vs. gears

    ok, here it is. I'm wondering if anyone would know what size tires I could run instead of my 225-55-16 at the track to give me the same accelleration as if I was running 4.10's instead of my current 2.73 :D thanks jay
