    I don't really undertand what that means though b/c when I changed the fluid, I actually removed the rack, sild the boots off and moved it through the cycles. The joints seemed fine and I don't see how the gearing would go bad...?

    The CR1s are really nice seats, but I broke a couple of vertebra in a car crash (not my mustang) a few months back and now I need a seat with more lumbar support. Now comfort is more important to me than performance or style.

    as far as axe (axle?) bushings go...yep. I'll check the rag joint..could that be causing all the knocking and clicking I've been hearing? I was wondering it there was maybe a tooth in the rack ground down but I don't really know what the insides look like..

    Had them balance mine to 50oz and had no problems. Are you going with a stock oil pan or aftermarket? Doing any braceing?

    good questions... No it doesn't happen while going straight and this is what's wierd, the steering wheel doesn't not pull like with bump steer, it just starts to float out. The feeling is like when you hydroplane and just can't control the vehicle..

    that's great guys, thanks for the quick feedback...new one on its way, $42 from Summitt. Lucky me, I was fighting it all the way home from work. It snapped as I was trying to shift into first to pull up the driveway. Had to push it 30 feet up hill but it would have been a lot worse.
