    i just had a T-56 tranny installed in the GT and its not wanting to go in reverse. any ideas what could be causing this. it started out fine but after driving it awhile it started getting hard to get it in reverse. thanks guys :shrug:

    thanks, i want to supercharge down the road but didnt want to hurt my engine before i do it with the timing issue.

    yes i just bought the SCT excalibrator with 3 tunes in it. i had the engine rebuilt with forged rods and pistons and the cr is now 8.8-1. its a 04 GT.

    does it hurt the engine to advance the timing on a lowered compression engine? how much HP can you gain?

    thanks for all the replies. i will have all of those things checked. the noise is pretty much constant but not really that bad although you know its there.

    hey guys i need some input on a squeeking noise coming from the rearend area of the car near the brake area. checked the rotors already, could it be the axles or bearings?

    probably gonna cost about 10g for everything. of course the T-56 was a bit more and i went ahead and had forged rods & pistons put in. kept the original crank. not really trying to get huge HP#'s. around 350-400 RWHP is fine for me. just want to show the ricers a little old fashion AMERICAN...
