advancing the timing?

does it hurt the engine to advance the timing on a lowered compression engine? how much HP can you gain?

You will have to use premium fuel if you do www.toptiergas.com

How are you going to do it? Handheld programmer???

I would guess you will gain about 5-12 hp.

yes i just bought the SCT excalibrator with 3 tunes in it. i had the engine rebuilt with forged rods and pistons and the cr is now 8.8-1. its a 04 GT.

thanks, i want to supercharge down the road but didnt want to hurt my engine before i do it with the timing issue.
