    Changing spindles had no effect on my ride height. I simply cut the coils to obtain a lower front stance. Its what you do when you race.

    From those photos I wonder if its actually the rear that low, and the front is closer to stock ride height. Either way, if the rear end is where you want to I'd start cutting the coil spring. I've taken a full coil out of my coil springs to get my desired stance.

    Anyone know the weight distribution of a 66 v8 coupe offhand?

    Used to be 2795 lbs, but a roll bar, Tremec TKO and subframes pushed the weight up to 2950 lbs. Good thing I have a 347 now instead of the 'ol 289.

    hydraulic lifters bleed off a little at low rpm, but when working correctly are fully pumped up at higher rpms. Solid cams however use valve lash that reduces overall cam profile.

    rear wheel aligment

    I ran string from the rear tires to the fronts... When they were not parallel with the car I knew something was broken. Apparently I broke the alignment pin on the passenger leaf spring.
