    "What is the small 90 degree pipe fitting that right behind the hangars? I blocked off the O2 sensor ports but I'm not sure what the other is for." I believe that's a hookup for a hose that runs off the smog pump or some smog related part.

    what oil should I use?

    50 weight oil is too thick. I don't know the 4.6 engine very well yet but thick oil has caused a lot of oil pump drive shafts to break on 5.0's at high rpm's.

    It's not hard to take the tail shaft housing off just take the drive shaft out and unbolt it. May have to take cross member out it's been quite awhile since I've did it, but if you have a jack, jack stand, and some wrenches it's not hard at all.

    Tom. Shouldn't a speed cal work ok. Replacing the driven gear has always left my speedos off in the 5.0's I've had and I don't feel like rippin the tailshaft off the tranny to replace the drive gear. Gettin Lazy.

    I had to disconnect the battery too plus pull fan and fuel pump fuses.

    COramprat. You mean having to disconnect the battery after you put the tune in. It looks like I'll have to pay a 20% restocking fee so about $80 plus shipping to return it.

    How do the speedo recalibrators work for 94 and up? I just seen the star beside axle ratio selection on the SCT sight where it says 99 and up. Guess i screwed up.

    If you run it through your intake I would think it would clean the plugs.

    I did the same. Busted center out of a spark plug and braized the air fitting on it.

    Check the pinion for sure mine came a little loose on me guess I didn't tighten it tight enough to crush the crush sleeve. Retightened it and have no noise at all.

    You can set some gears up perfect and you'll still have a little whine in them.

    Loosen the H-pipe on both ends and put a floor jack under the middle set it where you want it and tighten it. Might have to realign your tailpipes afterwards.
