Snow tires are only so good...

For the hell of it last night I went around the block in the GT.. we had 15 inches of snow here and I'm in the country and you don't see a plow. Snow tires don't help much in 15 inches of snow :) It was fun though.

$28,000 for an 08 GT. What would you pay?

$25900 on my 05 GT. Leather, shaker 1000, everything. After I bought it the dealer told me he had a hard time selling it b/c of the color. Glad I like the Legend Lime.

Would there be a market for these?

I don't imagine the field off of a 12 volt supply would be cause too much EMI. If in testing you found its field could affect any electronics, you'd simply put the pins in a metal housing; so it's not so big of an issue that can't be simply overcome.

Would there be a market for these?

It'd look a lot like the "hood pin appearance kit" from cdc from the outside. Obviously there'd still be EM pins you'd have to install under the hood. Still, no drilling though.

Would there be a market for these?

A little switch isn't a big deal, it'd just make install a little harder.

Would there be a market for these?

These would work with any. Steel, aluminum, carbon fiber, fiberglass...

Would there be a market for these?

That's certainly an option but why wouldn't you just open the hood then start the car?

Would there be a market for these?

I'm an Electrical Engineer and I'm always trying to think of new ideas. I don't know if they have these or not (i haven't found them anywhere) but I thought about electro-magnetic hood pins. They'll only work off a relay off your ignition so they'll only operate when your car is on. If you shut...

    got a ticket! 82 in a 55

I'll agree that if you're cruising by yourself you're screwed. But I disagree that most good detectors have a hard time picking up a lasers frequency. Every detector worthwhile on the market seems to be both radar/laser.

My new '05 V6!!! Problems already?!

I guess I haven't looked into it for the Mustang yet. Jeez I replaced them on my 98 explorer and they were 40 bucks a piece or something like that.

My new '05 V6!!! Problems already?!

$342 for ball joints is so ridiculous its not even worth debating.

My new '05 V6!!! Problems already?!

You need a new mechanic.. Those prices are outrageous.

    got a ticket! 82 in a 55

I'm not too sure about that. I'm an Electrical Engineer and every reciever I know of can pick radar or laser up a lot further away than a human can see. It's seems the detector has a huge advantage to me. If an officer is clocking someone driving in front of youu up the road, that detector will...

Doesn't nearly every detector have a laser detector in it?

    I'll Admit, I Have A Problem.

Before owning a Mustang, I hated working on cars. I hated it with a passion. Now I run to summit racing when I'm bored just to buy something for my Mustang to add to it. It started off innocent with a short throw shifter, then went to muffler delete pipes, then to a few quick appearance mods...

    Accelerating too fast?

I'm not questioning the validity of it, and I'm not saying I wasn't in the wrong.. I had just never heard of "accelerating too fast" before in my 26 years.
