For the hell of it last night I went around the block in the GT.. we had 15 inches of snow here and I'm in the country and you don't see a plow. Snow tires don't help much in 15 inches of snow It was fun though.
15" of snow and 6" of ground clearance don't get you far. Especialy if you're the first out in it with no tracks to ride in. I played in the snow 2 years ago in my Jetta at work. I drifted around the turns, bouncing in the ruts from the guy in the 4wd Ford. Was a lot of fun...even after coming to a stop and noticing a crack in my windshield from the rut bouncing
It was fun though.
