    stock cam specs?

    The '87-'88 cams are 266/266 @ .006. The '89-up cams were 276/266 @ .006. Ford never rated them @ .050. The 204+ @ .050 is just what other people have measured.

    FPS built 360ci.

Now that you mention the rods, I must say that is exactly where FPS screwed me. I ordered a set of Eagle 4340 H beams w/ ARP 2000 bolts. I received a cheap foreign H-beam with A1 bolts in an Eagle box. I honestly didn't open anything until I got to the machine shop. My machinist builds many...

Yes and more than the block.

    FPS built 360ci.

You're asking about a pretty high end combo on stangnet and the corral. What do you expect? Most of these people have never had anything even close to this. Hardcore50 is down so the only place you'll probably get any experienced opinions from is www.sbftech.com. All you're going to get in...

Nodular cast iron or forged camshafts

If you are using a stock block, there is no need to use a forged crankshaft.

How many types of GT40 heads are there?

All you're going to find in a junkyard is GT40 and GT40P heads. Look in late model 5.0 Explorers.

    302 - 351

If it's not a roller block (and I doubt it is) you'll either need different lifters or a small base circle cam. Why would you want to put a TFS1 in a 408 anyway? Then again, why do you need a forged crank in a stock block? If it were me, I'd just buy a Scat 408 rotating assembly for...

    351 block

'70 has the same deck height as the '69. And what kind of specialty parts are you guys running for the shorter blocks?

What differences in 351 with 9.48 vs 9.503 deck height?

    9.2" is a Cleveland. 9.5" is a Windsor. In reality, the '69-'70 351W was 9.48" deck height. The '71-up was a 9.503". Just like our 8.2" deck 5.0s are 8.203".

What differences in 351 with 9.48 vs 9.503 deck height?

You basically just need to brand shop and compare overall compression heights. Some kits will vary a few thousandths. You might just end up with a kit that is .02 out of the hole. Check with your machinist to see what will be an acceptable range. But for example, I know the short rod 347...

IMO, Team Z or Wolfe makes the best rear suspension.

    advice for 351w

Buy new forged pistons. If you go with a 393, you can use a 302 piston and a stock 351 5.955" rod. Is this a core that is .040 over? Or is it a finished product with a nice .040 overbore? You can buy a cast steel 3.85" stroke crank (no need for a forged crank), upgrade to ARP bolts and buy...

300 RWHP with stock heads and cam

I'm thinking it's a carb motor. I made 262rwhp 328rwtq with Thumpers, Performer RPM intake and a .545/.545 218/224 114 cam through an AOD. It still had a/c and the stock fan too.

    N2O users please step inside

Guns don't kill people. People kill people. Nitrous doesn't kill motors. Detonation and people kill motors.

That stock bottom end will take more than I'd trust that dry it to. I've put 250hp shot on multiple stock shortblocks, but I only use wet kits.

Has anybody used a wet NOS system on a stock motor on a regular basis?

Injectors won't matter since it's a wet kit, but 180hp shot on a stock fuel pump would be mildly impressive. I've done 175hp plenty of times on a stock fuel pump, but I'm brave and the car was bone stock.

Has anybody used a wet NOS system on a stock motor on a regular basis?

Personally? No. I've got some customers that are in that realm, but I personally only do street cars (as is ~300hp in a single stage or less).
